Our Production In The UK

We partner with one of the UK's leading vitamins, minerals and supplements manufacturers. It produces 100 million capsules and tablets a week at its 80,000 sq.ft facility.

GMP Practice

Good manufacturing practice (GMP) is the minimum standard that a medicines manufacturer must meet in their production processes. Products must:

  • be of consistent high quality
  • be appropriate to their intended use
  • meet the requirements of the marketing authorisation (MA) or product specification

Good distribution practice (GDP) requires that medicines are obtained from the licensed supply chain and are consistently stored, transported and handled under suitable conditions, as required by the MA or product specification.

Organisations that may have to comply with good manufacturing practice (GMP) and/or good distribution practice (GDP) include:

  • manufacturer licence holders
  • wholesale dealer licence holders
  • blood establishment authorisation holders
  • non-UK sites employed by UK MA holders

BRC Accreditation

The production facility obtained a BRC accreditation Grade A.

BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is developed by food industry experts from retailers, manufacturers and food service organisations to ensure it is a rigorous and detailed, yet easy to understand the BRC Global Standard.

First published in 1998 it is now in its 7th issue and well established globally defined by many leading global specifiers.

It provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria, in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.

The BRC Global Standard focuses on:

  • The importance of management commitment
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) based food safety programmes
  • Quality management systems
  • Auditing good manufacturing processes – it is not just a paperwork audit
  • Auditing areas which often have the highest rate of product recalls and withdrawals, such as labelling and packing
  • Developing systems to reduce exposure to food fraud
  • Ensuring consistency of the audit process
  • Providing a BRC Global Standard that is portable enough to allow Additional Modules to be added to reduce audit burden
  • Promoting greater resilience, transparency and traceability in the supply chain

We Value Integrity & Transparency

Trust is the fundamental of a relationship, we start from sharing everything with you.

1. Research & Study

We are medical doctors and we have more than a decade experience with humanitarian projects.

  • Where do we get the inspirations from?

As aforementioned, we are active in humanitarian projects around the globe, at some of the untouched parts in the modern world. Hence, we got inspired by local eating habits, lifestyle, and remedies. We are intrigued by the concept of utilising adaptogenic plants as long-term solutions, and the amazing effects of the natural ingredients.

  • How do we proceed further?

Upon arrival at the destination, first thing we do is to study the local lifestyle. In brief, we study what they eat, where they get the food from, how they eat, and how does their daily routine look like. Then we dig deeper by studying what are the common sicknesses and how do they deal with it. Finally, we speak to local medical teams in order to verify the collected findings, and to study the historical medical records.

  • How do we identify the adaptogenic plants?

We speak to local medical teams about the traditional formulas, we collect information about the ingredients, lastly we verify if it is a scientifically documented adaptogenic plant (or if it is a new species). After the identification process, we proceed to lab testing and to gather scientific papers from international research database.

  • How do we find out the characteristics of the adaptogenic plants?

If it is a new species or if it has never been discovered, the basic way to find out more about the plant is via lab testing, it usually followed by further research on the possible effects. On the contrary, we find out more about a discovered adaptogen through existing scientific studies.

  • Do adaptogenic plants differ from places to places?

As a matter of fact, YES! These plants are able to survive harsh environment and are able to adapt domestic conditions such as soil, altitude, moisture, temperature, absence or surplus of growth substances etc. Therefore, sometimes we find some plants contain more certain minerals than the others.

2. Formulation

We know how human body works and we formulate bespoke food supplements.

  • How do we select which adaptogenic plants for our products?

After identifying a handful of adaptogenic plants, we bring the findings back home then we look closer into our daily life - particularly the life in big cities (e.g. London, New York, Berlin, Paris etc). We study the daily routine of our challenging life and figure out what do we need exactly. In our modern life, we realised our life is in such a fast pace, we work a lot more and we have so little energy to devote to our life. Hence, we created a range of bespoke food supplements that are relevant to our current lifestyle.

  • How do we know if our ideas really work?

We created a research panel with volunteers that are willing to share their daily activities, eating behaviour, living conditions, and health situation. We observe the change before and after taking our formulas, then we gather the info (or statistics) and study the results throughout a certain time period.

  • Everyone is different and how can we tell if our products are suitable?

Everyone has different body conditions and reacts to food supplements differently. Therefore, we are unable to announce our products are 100% suitable for everyone. We suggest you to consult your doctor, pharmacist, and health care professional before taking any vitamins and food supplements.

  • Are there any side effects?

Everyone reacts to food supplements in very different ways. Although we use ingredients that are mainly derived from plants and most of our products do not contain allergen, we are still unable to tell that there is no side effects.

In addition, less than 1% of our volunteers from the research panels reported feeling dizzy and have nausea. Subject to different health situations and medical conditions, we suggest you to consult your doctor before taking any vitamins and food supplements.

  • Will there be an immediate effects?

Adaptogenic plants (some called them superfood) and vitamins do not usually provide immediate effects as they do not work like medicines. They usually show effects in later stage after consuming for a certain period of time, the possible effects include feeling better, happier, and more energetic. However, some of the volunteers from the research panel reported that they felt the difference when they increase the number of pills per intake.

3. Manufacturing

We source our ingredients and manufacture our products in the United Kingdom.

  • Where do we manufacture our products?

Our products are all manufactured in the United Kingdom. We partner with one of the UK's leading food supplements manufacturers who is supplying to more than 40 countries. The main reasons we chose to produce in the UK is to support British businesses, to be a 100% British brand, and to ensure the highest production standard with EU compliances.

  • Where do we source the ingredients?

We have a very strict policy, a Certificate of Analysis must be presented and the lab tests must meet the EU safety requirements. We emphasise that all tests must be done in the United Kingdom, by labs that practicing the GMP guidelines.

  • How do we ensure the high standard of quality control?

We only work with manufacturers who practice the GMP guidelines, Who obtained the BRC accreditation (Grade A), and who are reputable in the industry. All manufacturing procedures must be monitored by UK and EU responsible institutions. Other than the capabilities of our manufacturer, we have a dedicated team that is communicates constantly and cooperates closely to ensure the production quality meets all EU-requirements.

  • What is the factory capable of?

Our current partner is able to produce 1 million capsules and tablets a week at its 80,000 sq.ft. facility.
